The Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics (JSEE) was listed among the “Excellent International Impact Academic Journals of China 2013”, jointly evaluated by the China Scientific Literature Evaluation and Measuring Research Center, Library of Tsinghua University and China Academic Journals (CD) Electronic Publishing House, and officially released on December 30, 2013. Based on the clout index (CI), the evaluation results reflect the international impact and status of China’s academic journals more objectively and accurately.
Among the 175 listed journals covering the areas of science, technology or medicine, JSEE and its Chinese edition respectively ranked 15th and 27th, which are correspondingly better than the ranks 31st and 107th in 2012.
Established in 1990, JSEE, published bimonthly now, is a comprehensive academic periodical jointly sponsored by Defense Technology Academy of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, Chinese Society of Astronautics, and System Engineering Society of China. The main columns include electronic technology, defense electronic technology, systems engineering, military systems analysis, control theory and practice, software algorithm and simulation, and reliability.
From its first publication, JSEE pays great attention to the science and technology in aerospace and national defense, keeps focus on development of the national and international researches, and timely follows up the frontier technologies. As a publication media, JSEE reports new concepts, methods, technologies and research findings, and it serves enterprises with a channel for getting new scientific and technological achievements as well. With deep care and full support from the experts, members of the editorial board and all the readers in the areas of aerospace and national defense, JSEE improves both academic quality and editorial quality with a good reputation.
In the future, JSEE will seek for higher achievements and play an active role in guiding and promoting development of science and technology of aerospace and national defense.
