Abstract: To solve the problem that the existing methods cannot detect multi-component emitter signals effectively,a novel detection method called SHE(S-method,Hough-transform and elimination-method) is proposed.S-method is introduced to compute the time-frequency distribution,Hough transform is applied to detecting the frequency slope,an elimination method in time-frequency plane is proposed to extract and detect parameters of signal component one by one.SHE has good performances of low computational complexity, strong noise suppression capability and easy online detection.Simulation experiments show that SHE is able to accurately detect the instantaneous frequency and the time of arrival and termination of each signal component and eliminate cross-term disturbance, its detection precisions of pulse width and bandwidth are more than 98.030% and 96.430% respectively, and the method has strong detection ability even when the signal-to-noise ratio decreases to -5 dB.
